The RSS feeds don’t work! :( I tried both mp3 and OGG versions… Rythmbox added the podcast feed but says ‘failed’ when i try to download an episode. Whats the deal?! will it be back up soon? thanks! Devin

  2. Great show, I’m a big fan of the show, keep up the good work.

  3. Brian says:

Adrian – just casting my vote for keeping the Ogg format. I bought by Cowon iAudio specifically so I could listen to Ogg. Keep up the good work!

    Devin,

It’s possible that Rythmbox does not support redirects… the downloads are redirected through a stat counter for audience statistics so I can provide on the fly reporting for estimated downloads to my sponsors… Maybe try another client and see what it does… You’re the only one in the audience so far having trouble downloading shows.

    Yes, great show!
The release schedule could be a little bit tighter but though anyway :)

I’m browsing Digg at the moment and found this little cool Beryl Plugin for Linux.

    Looks kinda nice :)

I love your podcasts, and I listen to it while I travel to and back from work. It keeps me updated on what is going on in the Linux world.

I have to admit that I was surprised to hear that you are using Windows XP/Tracktion to record your podcasts while the whole range of recording possibilities exist for Linux. If people who are on the brink of promoting Linux are not using Linux for their primary day to day activities (in this case recording podcasts), how can we expect newbies to pick Linux up and stick with it for anything other than web browsing and office stuff? If someone is going to invest time in learning about the sound apps, might as well use that time to learn about the apps on Linux. Don’t get me wrong, I am not suggesting that people should not use Windows when appropriate. I am just suggesting that there is a “Linux” theme in your podcasts, and I would you expect you to stick with Linux when creating your podcasts. You are probably aware of http://64studio.com/ distro that bundles all necessary music apps that would allow you to create high quality podcasts. Furthermore Agnula/Demudi 1.2 distro is a little bit older but still a good bundle for a recording studio.

Anyway, your content is great, so please keep up the good work!

    Alex

Wow! Thank you! I always wanted to write in my site something like that. Can I take part of your post to my blog?
